The 1st Englefield Green is a thriving Scout Group serving the village and surrounding area of Englefield Green, Surrey.
We have three busy Sections, catering for boys and girls, and are part of The Scout Association, which was founded in 1907.
Boys and girls are welcome into these Sections at the following ages:
Beavers: 6-8 years old (Mondays, 6-7.15pm)
Cubs: 8-11 years old (Wednesdays, 6.45-8.15pm)
Scouts: 11-14 years old (Fridays, 7.30-9pm)

We are the local Scout group in Virginia Water. We provide activities for young people aged 4-14 years old. In September 2024, we started our Squirrel Drey, providing provision to children aged between 4-6 as well as our usual Scouting provision for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

Generally known as A.C.T. this section is a very active theatre group which also has a junior section. The annual programme includes four major productions, given in the Tulk Hall of the Community Centre, a Pantomime in January, a full length play or two one act plays in early Spring, a musical in late Spring and a full length play in Autumn. Various social events, including an Annual Dinner with their own cabaret, are also arranged. The Club and rehearsal night is Thursday at 8 pm with additional rehearsals during production. The Section Subscription is £9.50 for ACA Members.
We don't have a junior section, we do a panto in January -as you say, a musical in April, plays in June and a musical in the autumn. We offer free membership for life and the secretary contact details are:

Alzheimers Dementia Support 'ADS' is a charity which offers constructive practical guidance and a wide range of services to help people in the local community whose lives are directly or indirectly affected by Dementia.
We try to make a difference by helping those affected cope better whilst giving them the opportunity to experience a little joy and laughter in their difficult lives.
Who we help
There is an ever growing number of People with Dementia and their Carers within our local Community of Windsor, Maidenhead, Ascot, Slough and Langley who can benefit from our services. We use any/all forms of communication to increase the awareness of 'ADS'

American Women of Berkshire and Surrey...an international women's club.
The purposes of AWBS are to promote social and educational contacts for expatriate women and their families residing in the Berkshire/Surrey area, to provide encouragement and support for members during their stay in England, and to foster international good will. As a non-profit, non-partisan organization, AWBS shall pursue social, educational, and philanthropic activities for the enjoyment and enrichment of its members. AWBS shall not support or endorse any political or religious groups.
AWBS is a member of the Federation of American Women’s Clubs Overseas (FAWCO) and the Federation of International Women’s Associations in London (FIWAL).
