Run by Surrey County Council Community Services. The adult learning opportunities are organised by Strode's College and Surrey County Council?s Community Services. The IT room there provides a comfortable environment for adults who may have had little experience with computers or the internet and who might not want to join a college or adult education centre. The IT courses have been consistently popular and attract students of all ages. Wednesday mornings the hall is set up for the Family Art and Craft group where parents/carers and young children are encouraged to play and learn together. Amongst other things, children learn to improve their co-ordination, listening skills and social skills. Phone Maggie Stebbings on 01784 437506 or Andrea Pope on 01932 560488

Egham Choral
Egham Choral is a friendly and busy traditional choral society and we always welcome new members. Founded in 1953 the choir aims to rehearse and perform a wide selection of choral music, giving between 2 to 3 concerts a year – a traditional Christmas programme of Carols, a full choral work in the spring. Past works include Carmina Burana, Haydn’s Creation, Mozart’s Requiem and works by Rossini and Puccini. Finally we close the year with a relaxed summer programme of music for all, featuring an outdoor picnic (weather permitting) and ‘Proms in the park’ feel. Additionally we do try and do a Remembrance concert in November and the occasional members’ concert. We welcome for the 2016-17 year, Richard Robbins as Musical Director. Egham Choral rehearse every Monday during school term time, starting from the first week of September, at the United Church, Egham High Street. Please see the website for full details.
